It's a people thing. One person across the desk from another each with their own feelings, prejudices and thoughts when we get down to it, right? That's what really drives the creating, buying & selling, overcoming problems, learning, hopefully with enthusiasm; preferably with passion. For my part, I'm selling change. Reassuring positive change. Which is useful, because change is guaranteed, like it or not, expected or not.
Actually I'm an interpreter & translator.I'm fluent in "fiercely independent-thinking perfectionist (penniless) business owner with a dream" as well as in "lender/investor with deep pockets whom take no risks". You never know; could come in handy when we sit down together to explore the possibilities of making your next steps happen.Sometimes I'm an alternative therapist. Where's your pain? A qualified freelance business start-up counsellor & management consultant with over 15 years private practice and Business Link/Enterprise Agency network contract experience. Michael has facilitated over 8000 commercial, public sector & social enterprise client interventions, evidencing substantial testimony. He holds membership of three professional organisations, undertaking ongoing CPD. Also MD of Soul Traders Workshops Ltd, Michael licenses social enterprise & financial literacy programme content for sub-contracted provision to schools, FE & Adult learners.
Possessing a comprehensive generalist consultancy skillset, Michael is an experienced conference speaker & workshop facilitator.
Following a ten year sales career, Michael started a video production business in 1994. This led to freelance involvement with his local Enterprise Agency and Michael sold the business in 1999 to concentrate on consultancy.
