"Success is measured not so much by the position that one's reached in life but by obstacles overcome while trying to succeed"
Booker T. WashingtonAll About You
You and your business, much like life, don't stand still.
It can only be as reactive or proactive as the people working in it, or on it. You're active or you wouldn't be reading this. Maybe you're still working out what you really want and need a perspective before tackling the 'how'. Perhaps you've got a fervent vision and want to keep good stuff happening (and make more of it), or weed out bad stuff that's getting in the way.
If you're an owner-manager without employees, or running a micro-business with up to ten employees then you've come to the right place. If you have a small business with more than ten employees, you're still in the right place. You have access to a network of skilled, experienced consultants right here, whether it's just me or my professional specialist associates.

I'm a generalist practitioner, but if pushed I confess I specialise in helping you:
- get the best people to support you, and how to get the best from them;
- avoid compliance pitfalls;
- maximise your cashflow, so it, y'know, flows;
- enhance your effectiveness as a decision-maker;
- better communicate with your staff and your customers;
- grow your venture;
- improve the degree of time, creative & financial freedom you aspire to;
- make a difference
The fact is no-one has the last word on success: if they had, they'd have patented it and we'd all be following it. That means it's down to each of us to figure out our own definition of happiness. However, the key thing is those who initiate change, tend to be happier and have more control than those who resist it.
Purpose, meaning and direction. Oh, and confidence. Happy is the person who rediscovers that feeling. It's the simple things.
Peruse my resumé on the Testimonials tab if you like; make use of the free downloads, read the blog, buy a book or two, sign up for a newsletter (competitions and useful guidance) and contribute your thoughts. The 'Charter' tab sets out what you can expect. Fees and services details are tabbed on the right. There's no obligation, no ridiculous forms to fill out. You're unique, so is your business; no point in putting you through mutliple tick boxes that don't give you an opportunity to explain what you do or what you want.
It's a people thing, so go visit other consultants; get an idea about who you'd prefer before choosing. Enough from me. Your intelligence warrants more respect than being subjected to pressured messages, especially when you've yet to even indicate what you're looking for. Perhaps my clients' thoughts might persuade you. Feeling better? Great. Call me Michael. Well, when you're ready you can just call. The number's up there at the top. Or email.
I'm more interested in your story. Especially the next chapter. So, what brings you to my door?
