Many consultants sites neglect the reasonably important detail of how much they charge. The clients I speak to find that rather irritating. After all, how can you make a decision without weighing up the cost against the value of of what it is you're trying to achieve? Of course you have a budget and it matters that you relate to the person, but at this stage it wastes your time trying to find out.
So, for the avoidance of doubt, my initial session with you by phone, email or meeting for up to an hour is free. Nada. Nothing. Zilch. You're welcome. If I've impressed you, then subsequent fees are structured as follows:
Hourly Rate £75 per hour plus 40 pence per mile and/or reimbursement of all public transport/taxi fares (either/both, whichever may apply). Engagement exceeding three consecutive hours shall incur Half Day rate billing.
Half Day rate £325 plus 40 pence per mile and/or reimbursement of all public transport/taxi fares (either/both, whichever may apply). Engagement exceeding five consecutive hours shall incur Daily rate billing.
Daily Rate £495 per day plus 40 pence per mile and/or reimbursement of all public transport/taxi fares (either/both, whichever may apply); £60 overnight accommodation and £20 subsistence expenses per night (when relevant);
Block Rate Determined according to specific requirements. Block days (i.e. regular flexible or set days over a minimum one month period) shall attract a fixed sum for the duration of engagement reflecting a discounted daily rate, but subject to travel/accommodation allowances as above.
